Shipping Policy

Within the contiguous 48 US States Guld Edge will ship by UPS, FedEx or Priority Mail. Prices are based on a one-time delivery schedule (not in phases) 

Shipments outside of the continental United States:  We can arrange a shipment to a foreign destination by one of our carriers and add the cost to your invoice; however large or bulk orders are usually shipped to a freight forwarder of your choice and then the additional freight is your responsibility.

Shipping & Handling, is generally added to an order, unless the size of the order makes a prepaid delivery.  Our freight charges are actual cost of the shipping materials - handling - freight costs.

If an item is shipped by Truck, it is the customer's responsibility to have the material removed from the truck.  Truck delivery is to the edge of the truck only and additional charges can be assessed for bringing the material to a storage area or a garage. 

Note; Residential deliveries are more expensive than "Commercial" deliveries.  All carriers have additional charges for "residential" deliveries.

We at Guld Edge will be happy to advise you on "faster shipping options" such as overnight delivery, 2nd & 3rd day shipping.  Call us at (402) 488-8011 with your questions.

Sales Tax

For orders shipped outside the state of Nebraska; no sales tax is charged unless the supplier or manufacturer has a Sales Tax added policy.  Nebraska deliveries will be charged the prevailing rate of sales tax.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary with each manufacturer.  Dependent upon the type of material and if you are ordering a special finish. 

We work with many manufacturers that have a 2-week lead time. 

We can advise you on delivery but can not guarantee a delivery time. 

We believe we are good at communication and we realize that you would like to receive your materials as soon as possible - we will do our best to meet your schedule.  However, it would be wise not to schedule an installation or a installer until you have a delivery date or the materials in your hands.

Quotations and agreements are contingent upon strikes, accidents, fires, availability of materials and other causes beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy

Once an order has been placed, if you would like to cancel the order you must send us an email at mark@guldedge.com or call us at (402) 488-8011 as soon as you make your decision.  Some orders can be cancelled if they have not entered the Fabrication or Shipping process. 

Once the order has entered the fabrication or shipping process, either shipping to you or from a 3rd party supplier, then you may not "cancel" the order. 
Please "do not" refuse the order; as the return to the supplier or factory can not be tracked without a Return Goods Authorization.

Return Policy

Please do not return products without a return goods authorization and shipping instructions

Shipping Damage:    Inspect your packages Right Away when they are delivered.  If the outside of the package is damaged please have the delivery person note that on the bill of landing or the delivery receipt.  This is an important must because more damage claims are turned down because the person taking the delivery did not count the number of packages or note any damaged packages.
If the package came UPS or FedEx call their toll free number for help, you will need the tracking number from the shipping label,  and then call us at (402) 488-8011 within 48hrs after delivery.  Time is important so do not delay.
We want you to be happy with your purchase and damage will occur in transit - If you and us are timely in filing a claim we can process you order for a replacement and getting credit from the freight carrier.
Defective Products:    If an order has defective items  - please contact us at mark@guldedge.com or call us at (402) 488-8011 for instructions on haw to return the material for replacement.
General Return Policy:    Please note that "some items can not be returned".  Special finished, custom made, service parts, and electronic parts are examples of non-returnable materials. 
 
Note too that some manufacturers will not take back materials under any conditions - we tend to stay away from those people no matter how good or popular their materials are!
Our charges for returns vary according to the manufacturer or supplier.  Generally this is a 25% restocking fee plus the returning freight.  Although, some manufacturers will charge 35% & 50%. 
Returns for credit are limited to 30 days after invoicing.  We will work with you - but it very hard to get a return when the supplier or the factory has restocked the material.
